- A descoberta do idioma;
- O momento em que o idioma se torna familiar;
- O platô, aquele momento em que sentimos que não estamos progredindo;
- O momento em que alcançamos 80% de compreensão do idioma;
- O momento em que nos tornamos totalmente confortáveis no idioma.

| And I'm gonna talk about the five stages of enjoyment because after all, as we go through learning the language, we are in different stages of either we're beginning the language or we're starting to get ahold of the language. | E vou falar sobre os cinco estágios do prazer porque, afinal, à medida que avançamos no aprendizado do idioma, passamos por diferentes estágios em que ou estamos começando a aprender o idioma ou estamos começando a dominar o idioma. |

| So when we begin the first stage, when we're starting to discover the language, at first it's all noise, but somehow as if by magic, what was noise becomes words, you start to be able to read a little bit even though you listen many, many times and keep on missing the same parts of what you're listening to and, and you look up words, let's say on LingQ, and you review them and you listen again. | Então quando a gente começa a primeira fase, quando a gente está começando a descobrir a língua, no começo é tudo barulho, mas de alguma forma como num passe de mágica, o que era barulho vira palavras, ah, você começa a conseguir ler um pouquinho mesmo embora você ouça muitas, muitas vezes e continue perdendo as mesmas partes do que está ouvindo e, e procure palavras, digamos no LingQ, e as revise e ouça novamente. |

| But then after a while, we get tired of listening to the same stuff over and over again. | Mas depois de um tempo, cansamos de ouvir as mesmas coisas repetidamente. |
| There's a lot of repetitive listening in the early stages in order to, you know, to get a hold of the new language. | Há muita escuta repetitiva nos estágios iniciais para, você sabe, dominar o novo idioma. |
